Fanteria e sciolta nel 1871.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;\"><span id=\"news_dom237\" class=\"news_css\">In esecuzione della legge 11 marzo 1926 sull&#8217;ordinamento dell&#8217;esercito, che prevede la costituzione delle brigate su tre reggimenti, il 1\u00b0 ottobre assume il nominativo di IV Brigata di Fanteria e inquadra, al 33\u00b0 e 34\u00b0 Rgt. Fanteria, anche il 38\u00b0 Rgt. Fanteria Ravenna. Successivamente la brigata e il 28\u00b0 Rgt. Artiglieria Divisionale entrano a far parte della Divisione Militare Territoriale di Cuneo (4<sup>a<\/sup>). Tale grande unit\u00e0 nel 1934 prende il nome di Divisione di Fanteria del Monviso (4&#8242; Divisione Monviso , quella dello scudetto in oggetto), (4th Infantry Division MONVISO) , nominativo che si estende anche alla brigata che diventa Brigata di fanteria del Monviso (IV). Le variazioni organiche nell&#8217;ambito della brigata fino al 1939 riguardano l&#8217;avvicendamento del 38\u00b0 Rgt. Fanteria Ravenna con il 44\u00b0 Rgt. Fanteria Forl\u00ec e il temporaneo trasferimento, dal 1935 al 1936, del 34\u00b0 Rgt. Fanteria nell&#8217;isola di Lero, facente parte del possedimento italiano del Dodecanneso nell&#8217;Egeo. Il 5 aprile 1939, in relazione al programma di trasformazione organica delle unit\u00e0 di fanteria, la divisione e la brigata danno vita alla Divisione di Fanteria Livorno (4<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;\"><span id=\"news_dom237\" class=\"news_css\"><sup>a<\/sup><\/span><span id=\"news_dom\" class=\"news_css\"><span id=\"news_dom237\" class=\"news_css\"><span id=\"news_dom238\" class=\"news_css\">), che assume alle dipendenze il 33\u00b0 e 34\u00b0 Rgt. Fanteria e il 28\u00b0 Rgt.
